I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with the Colorful Arts Society, Inc. for the second year in a row. The Colorful Arts (CAS) was organized exclusively for charitable, literary and/or educational purposes and particularly for the following purposes: aid the advancement of arts education; encourage support for the arts; and promote the appreciation and involvement in the arts by the general public.
CAS endeavors to promote artistic interaction among ethnically blended communities by sponsoring activities such as, but not limited to, forums for the exchange of ideas, educational seminars, plays, concerts, films, exhibits, and other arts and cultural events.
This year, CAS celebrates their 11th annual scholarship fundraiser with silent auction on October 17 at 4:30 p.m. “The Vision, the Sound, The Legacy….A Gala Celebration of Motown will be held at the Opera Event Center, 1150 Crescent Avenue in Atlanta with the lovely A Lady named Pearl serving as the mistress of Ceremonies. In addition to hearing the wonderful sounds of The Total Package Band guests will also enjoy the scholarship recipient’s presentation of a one-act play. For ticket information, please contact LeeHenry Designs or any member of The Colorful Arts Society.
Designfully yours,
Tanza
