It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are filled with numerous parties taking place throughout the season. Are you entertaining family and friends during the holidays? As the host, there are 4 essential items you should have on hand. Not only are these items a must for the holiday, you should consider these your entertaining must haves – no matter the season.
- Cheese tray – It’s always a nice touch to have a few appetizers ready for those early or on-time guests. A cheese tray is an easy solution to serving a pre-function snack.
- Bar cart – Bar carts have become all the craze lately. I know you have seen the photos of styled bar carts all over social media. They actually can serve a purpose for your dinner party. The cart can be used to hold the drinks, ice, glasses and garnishes. Are you having an alcohol-free party? The cart can still be an essential to hold pitchers of your favorite non-alcoholic beverage.
- Glasses -Maybe, I’m boujee but leave the plastic and paper cups for another time. Invest in some pretty glasses to serve your drinks. It will add an upscale look and feel to your party.
- Wine glass tags – It seems someone ALWAYS forget which glass belongs to them. Add tags at the bottom of each glass to help differentiate.
The 4 essentials listed above are items some hosts haven’t considered when entertaining. A few other items to consider are candles, a cute wine bottle fur cover, mixers (if you are serving cocktails) and an additional appetizer. Leave me a comment and let me know which of the four you have used in the past or plan to use in the future. If you need help with your next party, contact me. I will be happy to help.
